Why Some People Left-Handed?

About four percent of the world population is left-handed. In the course of history, many of the greatest geniuses have also been left Handed. LEONARD DAVINCI and MICHELANGELO the greatest sculptures of all times were both left-handed.

Why Some People Left-Handed?

The brain has right half and left half, And these two do not function in the same way. It is believed That the left half of the brain is predominant over the right half.                                                                                             This being the case, the right half of the body is more skilled and better able to do things, we read, write, speak and work with the left half of our brain and this in fact makes most folks right handed too. But in the case of left-handed people, it works the other way around the right half of the brain is predominant and such work best with the left side of his body.

The genetic proposal to elucidate hand preference states that there are two alleles, or two manifestations of a gene at an equivalent genetic location, that are related to handedness. One of these alleles may be a D gene (for dextral, meaning ¿right¿) and therefore the other allele may be a C gene (for ¿chance¿). The D gene is more frequent within the population and is more likely to occur as a part of the genetic heritage of a private . It is the D gene that promotes right-hand preference within the majority of humans. The C gene is a smaller amount likely to occur within the gene pool, but when it's present, the hand preference of the individual with the C gene is decided randomly. Individuals with the C gene will have a 50 percent chance of being right-handed and a 50 percent chance of being left-handed.
